Please, have no fear......
Little bit of concern, a dab of bemusement.......I know that people are afraid of anything smacking of schizophrenia and I must tell you, in the wide world of medication , the same meds are prescribed for many different afflictions. I am not diagnosed as schizoid, I know I know, I was surprised also.lol I am government qualified PTSD and ADD. Now, I have had a couple of stone jack-quack therapists ask me if I ever "heard voices." You know they're quackers when they have no sense of humor, watch out for that kind. Not having a "normal" sense of humor to be asking a clinically depressed person such a question is truly dangerous...to the depressed person. So, when I respond to the question with "hey, depends on how much coffee and sugar I've had" and is met with a stone-face, I realize that I'm in the presence of person needing help far more than I do. Inept mental health folks have hurt a lot of people. Oh, I'd say my experience with Kaiser Permanente, South San Francisco psychiatric could have been a real danger. But being clean and sober spared me any further "snake pit" time. They make a lot of moola and get out of helping folks with "long-term" needs. Hell, who doesn't have that? Anyway, a pox on those bastards.
